Maria Dolores Diaz went to be with our Lord on Thursday July 13, 2017 at her residence in McAllen surrounded by her loving family. She was 63 years old. "Lolita" as she was lovingly known to many was born on March 10 ,1954 in Reynosa, Mexico to Arturo Rodriguez and Gabriela Martinez. Lolita was a resident of McAllen for many years. She attended the Alianza Cristiana del Valle church in Palmview. She was full of love that she gave to many many people. She was very helpful to everybody and anybody. Lolita was full of life and enjoyed it to its fullest.
She will be dearly missed by her family and those that came to know her.
She was preceded in death by her father
She is survived by her husband Mario Alberto Diaz, her children- Karina Gabriela Diaz (Vicente Mafra),
Mario A. Diaz (Berenice), Walter Diaz (Gabriela), her siblings- Rosalinda, Arturo, Blanca, Irma, Mary, Vicky, Victor, Samuel, her mother Gabriela Martinez, grandchildren Mario, Giselle, Camila, Walter,Kalvyn and Kimberly.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 17, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 12:00 PM and another service at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Cemetery in Mission.
A special gratitude to Pastor Jorge Perez and the Alianza Cristiana del Valle Church for all their prayers and support.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
